Over the years I have met people who have shared various dating encounters with me. We have laughed and cried about some of these encounters. The one thing I have realized is that we all have one common bond whether male or female………..someone has lied to us or simply didn’t state the truth. The thing is it may hurt, it may be a wake up call, or it just may even be too funny for words. Without those encounters, we lose the opportunity to learn and grow from the experience. I decided I would chronicle these dating encounters because they have helped many of my friends and associates become who they are today.  I created this blog to share funny, crazy, sad, and outrageous encounters that friends (male and female) as well as I have had over the years.

The title of this blog started out as “The Truth About a Liar”. It has sort of turned into many aspects of relationships, dating, love, and marriage. It shares the highs and lows of dating and marriage. Since it has developed into something different, I changed the title to “The Truth About Dating”. Hopefully by sharing these encounters of dating, relationships, friendships, and networking, I could help someone possibly gain more insight along the way. If nothing else, it could provide a little humor. This blog is not about bashing a particular gender, it’s entertainment. If it does help someone along the way……….Awesome!!!

P.S. Sometimes I will have posts about things other than dating. It’s because the particular topic or issue is important to me. After all my blog is my public diary.
